Airport Runway Construction Continues Disrupting Fruit Street Traffic
MANSFIELD — A major renovation project at Mansfield Municipal Airport, underway since mid-July, continues to affect the Fruit Street area as the town's Phase III water restrictions remain in effect townwide.

The Town of Mansfield is continuing site improvements at Mansfield Municipal Airport, located at 265 Fruit Street, where crews are renovating and upgrading runway and taxiway areas. The project began Monday, July 13, and the town has posted a traffic advisory asking drivers to expect continued disruption near the airport as work proceeds.
The town's Information Technologies Department also circulated its latest weekly cybersecurity communication, part of an ongoing series that walks residents through a real-world scam scenario and how to resolve it. Past installments are archived on the town's Information Technologies webpage. Separately, the town's Phase III water restrictions, in effect since June 10, remain active as the summer continues, per the alert posted on the town's website.
