EPA Continues Debris Removal at Former Webster Mill Site
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency continues removing contaminated debris from the former Webster Mill site, with the town advising residents they may see trucks and heavy equipment in the area as the work continues.

The Town of North Attleborough is reminding residents that the EPA's ongoing cleanup at the former Webster Mill property remains active, with heavy equipment and truck traffic expected in the surrounding area as crews haul away contaminated debris. The town previously held a community information session on the cleanup and safety plans, and the latest News Flash update confirms the work is continuing without a stated end date.
Separately, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has issued a public health advisory alerting parents, caregivers, and retailers to a nationwide recall of all lots of Nara Organics powdered infant formula. Residents who have purchased the product are urged to check lot information and discontinue use.
The town is also continuing to process disaster assistance applications through the U.S. Small Business Administration, which opened Business Recovery Centers across Southeastern Massachusetts for businesses and nonprofits impacted by the February blizzard.
On a lighter note, Town Hall reminded residents that bulk, screened compost remains available for purchase at $10 per cubic yard for orders of 20 yards or more, useful for late-summer landscaping projects.
