Mansfield Library Caps Summer Reading With Week Of Teen Programs

MANSFIELD — Mansfield Public Library's summer reading program heads into its final days this week, with a slate of teen and family programs culminating in a Summer Reading End Party on Friday, while town road and airport construction continues under previously announced restrictions.

The town's road construction notice remains in effect, with the DPW Highway Division continuing several projects scheduled through the summer, according to the town website. Traffic advisories tied to the Mansfield Municipal Airport site improvement project at 265 Fruit Street also remain posted, as renovations to runway and taxiway areas continue.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Mansfield Public Library has a full slate of programming this week. On Wednesday, July 29, the library hosts Bag Charms for Teens (ages 13-18). Thursday, July 30 brings three programs: Tales for Tails for all ages, Paper Portraits for teens 13-18, and Chess Club for all ages, followed by D&D at the Library: Encounters for adults 18 and older. The week closes Friday, July 31 with the Summer Reading End Party, capping off the library's summer reading season.
