North Attleborough Moves to Stage 2 Water Restrictions
NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — The Town of North Attleborough has implemented Stage 2 Outdoor Water Restrictions, a mandatory tightening of outdoor water use as summer demand rises, even as the town's 250th Anniversary festivities continue with concerts, a road race and history exhibits filling the calendar this week.

The town announced it has moved to Stage 2 Water Restrictions, a step up in mandatory conservation measures for outdoor water use, according to the town's website. Residents should consult the town's water restriction guidance for specifics on watering schedules and permitted uses.
In other town business, applications are now open for the Fiscal Year 2027 Means-Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption, a program offering tax relief to qualifying senior homeowners. Separately, Fire Chief Christopher Coleman announced promotions, new hires and service milestones within the North Attleborough Fire Department, recognizing personnel achievements across the department.
The town's weekly Summer Concert Series has continued despite a heat-related postponement earlier this month, when the Community Band's July 2 concert was pushed back due to extreme heat forecasts.

North Attleborough's 250th Anniversary celebration rolls on with free NACC Summer Concerts held at the Town Hall Gazebo on July 8, July 9 and July 11, giving residents multiple chances to catch live music downtown this week.
Looking toward the weekend, the town is hosting "Paint North Attleborough Beautiful" at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, July 11. On Sunday, July 12, runners can take part in the Twice is Nice 5 Mile Road Race, while history buffs can attend "The Times That Try Men's Souls: The Road to Revolution, 1763-1776," a program tied to the town's anniversary programming.
Also on the calendar, downtown will host the return of the Kids Day Parade on Saturday, July 18 at 11 a.m., one of North Attleborough's longtime summer traditions featuring a walking celebration through the center of town.
