Recreation Department Praised for Halloween Happenings Event

TOWN -- The Westport Select Board, meeting Monday, Oct. 19, thanked the town's Recreation Department along with police and fire personnel for putting on the Halloween Happenings event held over the weekend. Board members noted the strong town-department turnout that made the event possible. Separately, the board voted to accept a $250 donation from David and Danielle Oliveira of Divine Realty to the Recreation Department in connection with the Halloween Happenings event.
