Town Implements Stage 2 Water Restrictions Amid Summer Heat
NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — The Town of North Attleborough has implemented Stage 2 outdoor water restrictions, while the 250th Anniversary celebration continues this week with free summer concerts downtown and plans for the return of the Kids Day Parade later this month.

The Town of North Attleborough has announced Stage 2 Water Restrictions are now in effect, according to the town's News Flash feed, though details on specific outdoor watering limits were not included in the alert. Residents are directed to the town website for further guidance on the restrictions.
Separately, the town is now accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Means-Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption program, giving eligible senior homeowners a chance to apply for tax relief.
The North Attleborough Fire Department also marked promotions, new hires and service milestones at a recent ceremony, Fire Chief Christopher Coleman announced. The department recognized the achievements as part of ongoing efforts to highlight staffing changes and career growth within its ranks.

The North Attleborough Cultural Council is bringing three free nights of live music to the Town Hall Gazebo as part of the town's 250th Anniversary celebration, with concerts scheduled for July 8, July 9, and July 11, featuring performances for audiences of all ages.
The town's favorite summer tradition, the Kids Day Parade, returns Saturday, July 18 at 11 a.m., featuring a special walking celebration through downtown. The event is a longstanding community highlight organized as part of the town's summer programming.
Additionally, a previously scheduled Community Band concert on Thursday, July 2 was postponed due to extreme heat, according to the town's News Flash feed.
COMING UP
The 250th Youth Trivia event and a North Attleborough Housing Authority Public Hearing are both scheduled for Thursday, July 9, alongside a Planning Board Public Meeting the same day. Also on July 9, the Cultural Council's 4EverFab Concert takes place as part of the ongoing summer concert series.
On Saturday, July 11, residents can take part in "Paint North Attleborough Beautiful" at the Farmer's Market, and on Sunday, July 12, runners will gather for the Twice is Nice 5 Mile Road Race.
The Kids Day Parade is set for Saturday, July 18 at 11 a.m., continuing downtown.
