Mansfield Airport Begins Runway and Taxiway Improvement Project
MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Municipal Airport at 265 Fruit Street began a major site improvement project Monday, renovating and upgrading its runway and taxiway areas, as the town manager separately announced a series of community focus groups on the town's budget plan.

The airport's runway and taxiway project got underway Monday, July 13, marking the start of what the town describes as a major site improvement effort at the Fruit Street facility. Town officials advised residents to expect construction activity in the area as the work proceeds.
Separately, the Department of Public Works' Highway Division has several road construction projects scheduled across town this summer, according to a notice posted to the town website. The town manager also announced plans to host a series of community focus groups this summer, inviting residents to share ideas, feedback and perspectives on issues affecting the community and the town's budget plan.
The town's Information Technologies office also circulated its weekly cybersecurity communication, walking residents through a sample cyber scam scenario and how to avoid it, part of an ongoing series posted to the town's IT webpage.
