Mansfield Keeps Phase III Water Restrictions in Place This Week

The Town of Mansfield remains under mandatory Phase III Outdoor Water Restrictions, a designation that took effect June 10 and is still active, according to the town's official website. Residents are asked to water lawns and outdoor plantings only during the specific days and times posted by the town in order to protect local water resources.
Separately, Town Manager's office is organizing a series of community focus groups this summer to collect resident feedback on issues affecting Mansfield and on the town's budget planning process. Residents interested in weighing in on town priorities are encouraged to watch for scheduling details through the town's news channels.
The town also published its July 2026 newsletter, featuring updates from various departments, boards, and committees, and sent out a Board of Registrars mailing containing required voter information, along with a routine cybersecurity awareness communication warning residents about common scam scenarios.
SCHOOLS
Mansfield Public Schools' calendar this week includes Safety Town sessions at Brinkerhoff, running from 8 a.m. to noon on both July 10 and July 17, giving young residents an early introduction to safety practices ahead of the new school year. The district is also looking ahead to a busy mid-August stretch of open houses across its schools, including at the middle school, senior high, and elementary buildings, as families prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Mansfield Public Library is preparing to launch a new delivery service aimed at bringing library resources directly to homebound patrons, part of an effort to extend educational access to residents who cannot easily visit the library in person.
The library's calendar is active this weekend, with Baby Story Time and Family Place Playtime scheduled for infants and toddlers on Friday, July 10, alongside a Family Movie Matinee open to all ages the same day. Saturday, July 11 brings Story Time for Tots, a Spice Club program for adults 18 and older, and Game On, a program for teens 13 and up. A Bilingual Story Time for all ages follows on Monday, July 13.
