North Attleborough Fire Department Recognizes Promotions and New Hires

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — Fire Chief Christopher Coleman this week recognized a round of promotions, new hires and service milestones within the North Attleborough Fire Department, while Town Hall separately opened applications for a fiscal 2027 tax break aimed at senior homeowners.

Fire Chief Christopher Coleman announced that the North Attleborough Fire Department recognized several members for promotions, new hires and service milestones, according to a release posted to the town's website. The announcement did not specify individual names or ranks beyond the chief's own attribution.

Town Hall is also now accepting applications for the fiscal year 2027 Means-Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption, a program that can lower tax bills for qualifying senior homeowners. The town's announcement did not list a specific application deadline.

COMING UP

Four town boards are scheduled to meet Thursday, July 23: the Retirement Board, the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA) Service Feedback Forum, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the North Attleborough Housing Authority. The following week, on Tuesday, July 28, the Traffic Study Advisory Group and the Board of Health are both scheduled to hold public meetings, the latter in hybrid format.
