North Attleborough Moves to Stage 2 Outdoor Water Restrictions

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — The town has moved to Stage 2 outdoor water restrictions as summer heat continues to strain the water supply, town officials announced this week, even as North Attleborough presses on with a summer full of 250th-anniversary festivities, including the annual Kids Day celebration set for this coming weekend.

The Town of North Attleborough has implemented a Stage 2 Outdoor Water Restriction, tightening limits on lawn watering and other outdoor water use townwide as dry summer conditions persist. Residents should check the town's website for the specific restrictions now in effect.

Fire Chief Christopher Coleman announced a round of promotions, new hires and service-milestone recognitions within the North Attleborough Fire Department, highlighting personnel moves within the department as it marks the achievements of its members.

Separately, the town is now accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Means-Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption, giving eligible senior homeowners a window to apply for relief on their property tax bills.

The North Attleboro Firefighters Kids Day Association returns with its Kids Day Weekend, running Thursday, July 16, through Sunday, July 19, one of the town's longtime summer traditions and part of the broader run of events marking North Attleborough's 250th anniversary. The weekend builds to the Kids Day Fire Trucks & Walking Parade on Saturday, July 18, at 11 a.m., a walking celebration through downtown featuring fire apparatus and a parade route for families.
