Norton School Committee unanimously approves $11.4 million middle school roof warrant article and $182,000 in grants. The committee voted Wednesday to place an $11,443,631 appropriation before Spring Town Meeting for a roof replacement at Norton Middle School, with the Massachusetts School Building Authority potentially reimbursing up to 55.63 percent of eligible costs; the Select Board was set to take up a companion debt exclusion ballot question the following night. The committee also announced a tentative agreement with the Norton Teachers Association, reached without mediation, with a ratification vote still pending.
