Resendes Soccer Academy's summer camp returns to Seekonk's Cole Street Fields later this month, and the town's Parks and Recreation Committee got two familiar faces reappointed by the Select Board this week.

The Select Board, meeting July 8, voted to reappoint Gary Jones Jr. and Jeff Cabral to the Parks and Recreation Committee, with terms set to expire in 2029.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Seekonk Youth Soccer, in partnership with Resendes Soccer Academy, is hosting its 2026 RSA Summer Soccer Camp July 27-31 at the Cole Street Soccer Fields near Martin Elementary School. The camp is open to players from kindergarten through 8th grade, with full-day (9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) and half-day (9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) options, plus early drop-off at 8:30 a.m. Registration remains open through the program's Ryzer.com signup page. Organizers describe the camp as led by directors from the Bryant University coaching staff alongside local youth coaches recruited by the RSA program.
