YOUTH LEAGUES -- SYS announced on August 27 the launch of its first-ever Baby Geese Academy, a new program for players entering Pre-K. Run in partnership with Resendes Soccer Academy, the six-week program runs alongside Fall Rec games on Saturday mornings from September 19 through October 24, with sessions at 9:15 a.m. at the Cole St. Fields at Martin School. Cost is $75, including a shirt, and registration is open through TeamSnap, though the organization noted that space is limited.

Separately, SYS announced on August 28 that registration for its 2026 Fall Rec season has been extended through September 4. Player and coach registration links remain posted on the organization's website.
