Somerset-Berkley School Committee Unanimously Approves DECA Atlanta Trip

SOMERSET — April 14, 2026 — Somerset-Berkley Regional School Committee approves DECA international conference trip in a one-item meeting. The board voted 7-0 Tuesday to send qualifying students to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, April 25-29, 2026. The district has already paid the registration fee from the operating budget, with remaining travel costs to be covered by student activity fees and fundraising. The motion was made by committee member Patricia Ferreira and seconded by newly sworn-in member Mr. Gaw, who joined all seven members participating remotely. The committee's next meeting is scheduled for May 5 in person at Somerset-Berkley Regional High School.
