Swansea Closes First Half of 2026 With No Major Municipal Announcements

No major announcements came out of Swansea's town hall, schools, or library on Monday, as the community closed out the first half of 2026 without breaking news from any local source.

The Swansea Free Public Library wrapped its recent Summer Reading Kick-Off featuring Mr. Vinny the Bubble Guy and watermelon games, and an author visit with Steven Manchester was held Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 p.m. The library's calendar of upcoming events is available at swansealibrary.org for residents planning their July. The library is open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
