Taunton School Committee votes to study creation of a special education advisory body. The committee also approved FY26 and FY27 bills-payable warrants totaling approximately $1.16 million, welcomed new Director of Finance Kevin Almeida on approximately his eighth day in the district, and heard from Superintendent Cabral that Governor Healey's proposed $100 million supplemental school funding reserve could deliver roughly $930,000 in one-time FY27 money to Taunton if the Legislature approves it.
