Taunton Youth Basketball's free Spring Shootout league wraps up its final Wednesday of play this week.

TAUNTON -- The Spring Shootout, a free youth basketball league organized by Coach Chris Green under the Taunton Youth Basketball program, closes out its season with games Wednesday, June 24, at Taunton High School. Registration for the league is closed.

YOUTH LEAGUES

The Spring Shootout has been running Wednesday evenings at Taunton High School since April 29. The league features three divisions by grade: an elementary division (grades 2–4) at 6 p.m., a middle school division (grades 5–7) at 7 p.m., and a high school division (grades 8–9) at 8 p.m. The program is free of charge. Taunton Youth Basketball asked all registered players to commit to their teams to allow organizers to balance rosters and ensure competitive play throughout the season.

No other youth or high school sports activity was reported for the period of June 22–28, 2026.
