Planning Board · Meeting of August 10, 2026
Dartmouth Planning Board continues State Road special permit hearing to August 31. Director of Planning Daniel Gioiosa told the board a report on sewer capacity for the 813 State Road project "was readied late" the prior Friday, and the board voted 4-0 to continue the hearing. Members also endorsed two approval-not-required plans, for 16 Rebecca Road and 0 Jason Drive, both by 3-0 votes, and heard that the Zoning Board of Appeals granted a variance reducing a required 55-foot driveway setback to 52.5 feet.
Chair Lorri-Ann Miller postponed discussion of Dartmouth's future zoning, saying "we don't have a full board." The board set a joint meeting with the Select Board for September 14 on a fall zoning ballot question, with member Margaret Sweet saying voters "need to understand the cons and the pros."
