Dighton Board of Health votes to seek competitive bids for pay-as-you-throw trash bags, citing a missing vendor contract. The two-member quorum — board member Christopher Isibor and Clerk Vincent Hebert, meeting by Zoom with Chairperson Tammy Mello absent — voted unanimously to authorize Health Agent Elizabeth to solicit at least three bids from vendors including current supplier Waste Zero, after the town accountant identified the lack of a formal contract for the over-$10,000 arrangement.
