Easton's Finance Committee recommended 10 of 12 special town meeting articles and held off on a data center ban. Chairing in the regular chair's absence, Kelly Lamb led unanimous 6-0 votes on items including a $250,000 first-year stormwater utility budget, a roughly $200,000 injured on duty fund transfer, a $53,300 conservation restriction endowment and a $218,000 DPW hook lift. Planning Director Ken Kirkland presented the data center bylaw.

One member called its language "hopelessly vague." A 3-3 tie was rescinded 4-2 so the warrant would read no action, pending a meeting with town counsel. The committee also recommended the battery storage bylaw after striking a scrivener's error from the decommissioning section.
