Seekonk Youth Soccer's Black Goose program sends a record eight teams into the Superliga playoffs this spring.

SEEKONK -- Seekonk Youth Soccer announced that a record eight teams from its Spring 2026 Black Goose competitive program qualified for the RI Superliga playoffs, the organization reported June 11. The league described the total as "most of our Spring program" and credited players, coaches, parents, and program partner Resendes Soccer Academy for the achievement.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Seekonk Youth Soccer's Black Goose Select teams are now in playoff competition. The organization thanked Resendes Soccer Academy, which it said "continues to support our program and help our kids learn and grow the game."

Families interested in the fall competitive season should note that Fall Black Goose tryout registration is open on TeamSnap. Tryouts were scheduled for June 8 (girls) and June 9 (boys) at Cole Street Fields, 5:15–6:30 p.m., for grades 1–5 at a cost of $225 plus a $5 processing fee.

Looking ahead to summer, Seekonk Youth Soccer and Resendes Soccer Academy are co-hosting the 2026 RSA Summer Soccer Camp at Cole Street Fields, July 27–31, open to players kindergarten through eighth grade. Full-day (9 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) and half-day (9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) options are available, with early drop-off at 8:30 a.m. Registration is open at the link posted on the SYS website.

No high school games were reported this period.
