Swansea's 11U Little League squad claimed the District 6 championship and heads to the Massachusetts State Sectional Tournament as the 2026 season wraps up.

SWANSEA -- The 2026 Swansea Little League season closed out with hardware across multiple divisions and a coveted district title, as the league's 11U All-Star team won the District 6 championship and earned a berth in the MA State Sectional Tournament.

**YOUTH LEAGUES**

Three division champions were crowned to close out the regular season: the Red Sox captured the Farm Division title, the Expos won the Major Division, and the Diamondbacks took the Senior Division championship.

In tournament play, Swansea's 11U team claimed the District 6 crown under All-Star manager Joe Cabral. The league's 10U squad competed in the District 6 Chad Thiboutot Memorial Tournament, which was won by Taunton West.

All-Star managers have been named across age groups: Ian Dupre (8U), Chris Kenyon (9U), Adam Crisafulli (10U), Joe Cabral (11U), Joe Arruda (12U), Jeffrey Wood (Junior), and Mike Soares (Senior).

The league, founded in 1952 and based at Covel Estates on Route 6, thanked players, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors for what it called a memorable 2026 campaign.
