Taunton Youth Basketball's Spring Shootout league has closed registration after wrapping up its Wednesday-night season at Taunton High School.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Taunton Youth Basketball announced that registration for its 2026 Spring Shootout league, run by Coach Chris Green, is now closed. The free program required registered players to commit to their teams so organizers could split rosters as evenly as possible for competitive games. Games were played at Taunton High School on Wednesday nights from April 29 through June 24, across three divisions: an elementary division for grades 2-4 at 6 p.m., a middle school division for grades 5-7 at 7 p.m., and a high school division for grades 8-9 at 8 p.m. Taunton Youth Basketball's board of directors includes President Paul Pawlowski, Fundraising chair Ed Travers, and Treasurer Donna Studley.
