Dighton Board of Health Approves Betterment Loan for Buck Plain Road Property

DIGHTON — June 3, 2026 — Dighton Board of Health unanimously approves betterment loan for 2001 Buck Plain Road at special meeting. Chairperson Tammy Mello, Clerk Vincent Hebert, and Member Christopher Isibor convened the brief special Zoom meeting on June 3 with a single agenda item. Mello noted the property owner had obtained three competitive quotes as required and that town funds were available, saying the board should "help the resident out." Hebert moved to approve the loan, Isibor seconded, and all three members voted in favor. The board also learned that a staff member named Ashley had drafted a letter — not voted on at the meeting — recommending the Select Board formally detach the stormwater committee from the Board of Health.
