Board of Health · Meeting of October 8, 2026

MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Board of Health set firm deadlines for three landlords cited over housing violations. Health Agent Amy told the board owner Steven Wojtosinski, who goes by Drew, has until October 15 to fix a shower valve at 647 North Main Street that tested at 103 degrees, below the required 110-to-120-degree range. The board gave 12 Pratt Street until its November 5 meeting to finish a door alarm installation tied to years of unauthorized rear-door access, and Member John McGarry moved to require 792 West Street to confirm its new lock and intercom system is operational by October 19 or appear November 5.

"It gives you that legal standing that you're reacting on the vote of the board," the health agent said of the board's votes. All motions, including approval of the September 10 minutes, passed unanimously. The board also defended its food-inspection re-inspection fee after a restaurant owner complained, noting Plainville and Plymouth charge similar fees.
