Mansfield Phase III Water Restrictions Continue Through Holiday Weekend

With the long holiday weekend approaching, Mansfield residents are reminded that mandatory Phase III outdoor water restrictions — in place since June 10 — remain in effect, making conservation a front-of-mind issue as summer heat typically peaks.

Phase III outdoor water restrictions continue to govern lawn and garden watering across Mansfield. The town imposed the mandatory restrictions on June 10 and they remain in effect; residents should follow the posted schedule of permitted watering days and times to help protect the community's water supply. The Alert Center on the town's homepage flags the restriction as the current priority notice.

Also visible on the town homepage: the June 2026 Town Newsletter is available for residents who want a fuller look at department updates, board activity, and committee news. Separately, a mailing from the Board of Registrars is circulating — the town notes it contains important information and is a required communication, not junk mail.

The Industrial Development Commission, working with the Select Board and the state House delegation, continues to accept interest in the Downtown Sign & Facade Improvement Program, aimed at upgrading the built environment along Mansfield's downtown business corridor.
