The three-member board — Chair David Davignon, Vice Chair Thomas Fortin, and Member Robert Medeiros — unanimously repealed a March 2026 rule that had required engineers to inspect and photograph septic stone beds and bottom holes during installations, a stopgap adopted when the health agent position was vacant. Newly appointed Health Agent Jennifer Gailey attended her first meeting, with Davignon saying he wanted "our own people checking out" installations going forward.

The board also approved a revised septic plan for an Alison Drive property where a system designed for three bedrooms was built to serve four, with the engineer adding eight feet to each of three lateral lines and adjusting flow to 440 gallons per day. On enforcement, the board voted to send a formal demand letter to the owners of 12 Carol Street requiring a design plan before the next meeting, scheduled tentatively for August 18, after Davignon said the property's engineer had been surveying the lot but no plan had materialized all summer.
