DIGHTON — April 22, 2026 — Dighton Select Board reorganizes, advances FY27 town meeting warrant while deferring police vehicles. The board elected Mark Pacheco as chair and named Glenn Cabbage clerk at its April 22 meeting, replacing outgoing chair Peter Caron, before convening a lengthy joint session with the Finance Committee to reconcile departmental budgets. The joint body set the snow and ice deficit appropriation at $360,000 after the Town Administrator confirmed the deficit had already reached $345,000 with a storm-damaged truck transmission adding to the tab.
