Acushnet Home Prices Range From $251,000 to $875,000 This Period

ACUSHNET -- Thirty-seven property transfers were recorded at the Bristol County (New Bedford District) Registry of Deeds for Acushnet addresses between Sept. 11 and Oct. 10, but fewer than half carried a listed sale price at the time of recording. The month's highest-priced transaction, a $875,000 sale on Ashley Lane, led a group of 17 priced sales ranging up to that figure.

MARKET OVERVIEW

Of the 37 recorded transfers, 17 included a sale price, ranging from $251,000 to $875,000, with a median of $524,900. The remaining 20 entries were either nominal-consideration transfers, typically for $10 or less and not reflective of market value, or had a price not yet available at the registry. NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

Main Street accounted for the largest concentration of activity, with five priced sales: 1479 Main St. ($830,000), 711 Main St. ($840,000), 544 Main St. ($540,000), 270 Main St. ($375,000) and 1539 Main St. ($400,000), plus two nominal-consideration transfers on Main Street and 1389 Main St. Middle Road saw three transfers: a $592,000 sale at 66 Middle Road, and nominal-consideration transfers at 330 and 308 Middle Road, both involving Teddy M Cioper as trustee and grantee, a pattern consistent with a family trust arrangement based on the shared name. Five nominal-consideration transfers, at Nye Avenue, Proteau Street, and 127, 131 and 139 South Main St., all moved from Frank Niemiec to the Frank Niemiec Trust on the same day, Sept. 30, indicating a trust consolidation involving multiple parcels.
