Conservation Board Approves Lin's Propane Storage Lot

Conservation · Meeting of September 17, 2026

Dighton Conservation Commission approves propane company's gravel lot, presses back on $25,000 in engineering fees. The board unanimously issued an order of conditions for Cedar Street LLC's 76,013-square-foot storage lot for Lin's Propane, adding a special condition requiring an invasive-species plan for Phragmites by September 27. Engineer Brian Dunn told the board the applicant has paid nearly $19,000 to peer reviewer Weston & Sampson with $6,500 more requested, calling the total "out of control." Separately, applicant Antone Roderick, who has paid the town $20,000 across two boards for his Hot Street subdivision, said "it's easy to spend somebody else's money." The commission also opened a new wetland delineation review for a proposed Impact Family Church site on William Street and continued four other hearings to October.
