SWANSEA -- Twenty properties changed hands in Swansea between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, according to deeds recorded at the Bristol County (Fall River District) Registry of Deeds, with the highest-priced sale, a Gar Highway property, closing at $1,575,000.
MARKET OVERVIEW
The registry recorded 20 property transfers during the period. Of those, 10 carry a recorded sale price so far, ranging from $387,688 to $1,575,000, with a median of $734,950. The remaining 10 show no consideration amount yet; that typically reflects a data lag of about a week rather than a withheld price, and several of these transfers appear to move property within the same family, such as into a trust or life estate.
