Easton Select Board shifts Town Hall to a four-day week, ratifies police union contracts, refers a data center ban. Town Administrator Liz Dennehy said the new hours, Monday 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., close the building to the public on Fridays starting January 1, 2027. The board unanimously ratified fiscal 2027-2029 memoranda of agreement with the Easton Patrol Officers Association and Easton Police Supervisors Association, with Chair Dottie Fulginer saying "I feel like this is a fair agreement." Sitting as the Rent Control Board, members approved eviction certificates against four tenants at 305 Turnpike Street, including a $1,352 balance disputed by tenant Mary Kaminsky.
The board also approved an $80,330 CDM Smith landfill contract, a $28,300 American Thunder Fireworks contract, and $40,000 in Celebrations Committee gifts, and referred a proposed data center prohibition to the Planning and Zoning Board.
