Swansea home sale prices span $387,688 to $1.4 million in August
SWANSEA -- Twenty property transfers were recorded in Swansea between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only nine of those deeds disclosed a sale price. Among the nine, prices ranged from $387,688 to $1,425,000, with a median of $635,000.
MARKET OVERVIEW
Twenty deeds were recorded in town during the period. Eleven of the 20, more than half, carried no disclosed consideration amount, which is common for family and trust transfers in registry data. Among the nine sales with a recorded price, the range ran from $387,688 for a home on Bark Street to $1,425,000 for a property on Sears Road, with a median of $635,000. The raw count of 20 recorded transfers does not by itself indicate whether the period was active or quiet, since more than half of those transfers did not represent disclosed-price, arm's-length sales.
TOP SALES
215 Sears Road sold for $1,425,000 on Aug. 28, the highest price recorded in the period. Kilpatrick LLC sold the property to Demetri Brothers MA LLC.

Three streets each recorded two sales during the period. Bark Street saw a $387,688 sale at 1075 Bark St. and a $425,000 sale at 952 Bark St., the latter between sellers and a buyer sharing the Morgado name.
